The Hemlock tent has one queen size bed, a rustic live edge wooden bench, and shelving for your belongings. Our beds are handcrafted with live edge slab lumber. The mattresses are high-density CertiPUR foam mattresses. We make the beds with high-quality sheets, a hypo-allergenic pillow, a fleece blanket and a quilt.
Each tent has a hanging solar light above each bed as well as one at the entrance. The solar battery also provides a USB port for you to charge your phone. There are two deck chairs on your porch and a rain tarp above the porch so you can sit under it in the rain and stay dry.
Our screened outdoor pavilion is a common gathering place, where you will find complimentary high-speed wifi as well as many outlets to charge your devices.
The pavilion is a fully equipped kitchen for you to use. A barbecue, two outdoor propane stoves, a full-size fridge, a microwave, all pots and pans, cooking and eating utensils as well as dinnerware are provided. Complimentary coffee and tea are also provided.
Shower in the two beautiful cedar lined outdoor showers after a nice swim at our waterfront. You will find complimentary natural body wash and shampoo in each shower.

Things to Bring
In the shoulder seasons, or if you have a tendency to be cold, you might consider bringing an extra blanket or a sleeping bag. We can usually help with an extra if you forget.
- Outdoor footwear suitable for walking on uneven trails
- Flashlight for each person
- Any food for meals you wish to prepare here
- Umbrella, if rain is in the forecast
- All the usuals for some fun outdoors!
Our retreat is a quiet haven for adults, a sweet getaway with hammocks at the waterfront and yoga classes with wind chimes. There are also uneven trails to navigate at night and a beach with no lifeguards. We have decided that for the comfort of all our guests, for our peace of mind, and for the safety of your children, we have to say, sorry kids, you have to stay home! We do allow children if our entire centre is rented for a family or friends gathering, please contact us for further details.
Pets are never allowed. Our tents, trails, beach and decks are constantly cleaned and groomed, paw prints would be too difficult to manage.
If you have any further questions, please give us a call (705) 771-9555.
